LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
I read your Winter and Spring letters from the editor and I can tell you that they’re more than just fluff, they’re real -- something nice to see in a hard nose world. Your warmth makes me feel like we’re sitting at my kitchen table drinking coffee, just us girls. If you keep this up, you might get your own show!

FROM MIAMI TO MEXICO (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
I happened to be at The Forge that night, the food was amazing! I was sitting at the table with the Italian Director Ferdinando Vicentini Orgnani and saw his miniature Lallouz painting of the Cameraman. I was amazed by how small it was... how does Lallouz paint so tiny? It reminded me of a Faberge egg, pretty awesome!

PRE-MADONNA (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Quite spiritual without all that “shove it down your throat religious nonsense”. I quite enjoyed it! Kudos. Recently, I attended some Kabbalah workshops and enjoyed them! I never actually thought of Yehuda Berg as the new Messiah, but it is an interesting thought.

TO SHOOT A MOGUL (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Mar-a-Lago is a beautiful place! Donald Trump is American Royalty and anyone who says otherwise is simply jealous that he lives like a King!

Reed Richter has nailed it! One of the best tours around.

AIDS IN AFRICA (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
There aren’t enough Kelly Pattersons out there! We need to hear more about the real deal from people who are spending time in Africa to help these people. If we can’t educate the African people, how can we ever solve this pandemic?

MINI COOPER CULTURE (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Mike Marino is the coolest pop culture writer around. Always fun, like a psychedelic trip to the past when all our lives were so much simpler!

WINTER ILLNESS PREVENTION (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Extremely informative article. A MUST read on how to cheat colds and flu. This Christmas I’m passing it out to the entire family, teachers, neighbours and friends. Thanks, Jackie!

THE EPICUREAN EXPERIENCE (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Great review, there’s nothing out there better than Anthony’s Coal Fired! Anyone who knows pizza, knows this is the best place around. Anthony’s Runway 84 is also a great place to eat.

THE FIRE WITHIN (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Valerie Greene is an incredibly strong woman. I read her book THE FIRE WITHIN and it was fantastic! Her personal ‘stroke’ nightmare is a story of encouragement to so many people who suffer similar traumas, and a great source of support to their families. I LOVED the book, everyone should read it! God bless, Valerie!

THE PATH OF LIFE (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Somebody ought to take a lesson from this 14-year-old little lady. We certainly weren’t that bright back in my day growing up in the 40’s. Kids today are a lot smarter with all the access to technology, especially young Chanel Lallouz -- the making of a Psychiatrist, I say! Good on you, Chanel.

CREATING YOUR LIFE (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Divorce is never easy, in fact it’s been a living hell! Reluctantly, I tried the 17 second daily visualization and couldn’t believe what a difference it made. Things are starting to turn around. I met someone and am no longer depressed. Now I do it everyday at least once. Thanks, Kannara!

THE KISS (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
How romantic! I love short stories and always root for the underdog! Victoria Baker is a woman of may talents.

LUCKY DUMB (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
Very intriguing storyline -- I think we all know a couple of Luciano Duminos! Yuri Lantzman has a clear understanding of vast cultural differences and that ‘life ain’t no tea party’. Clearly shocking and outrageous, something that the public might like to see made for television? Hands down, better than the Sopranos!

HOROSCOPE (Premier Issue~Winter 2005)
I just LOVE Barbie’s horoscopes! She sounds so glamourous -- my friends all agree. I’m on pins and needles every issue, just tearing through the magazine to see her latest predictions for moi!

THE STAMP OF APPROVAL (Issue II~Spring 2006)
This is by far the most flattering painting of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II that I have seen over the years. Not the prettiest, nor the brightest, our Queen has carved a comfy niche for herself out of a mere stroke of luck, thanks to her uncle’s abdication! Where has Elyahou Lallouz been hiding -- a phenomenal artist; surely more Royals ought to commission their portrait from this genius. Well done, Sir -- you deserve to be knighted!

SHOCKJOCK (Issue II~Spring 2006)
What a beautiful photograph and interesting article about Maurice Boland. I find the man very sexy, he’s adorable! A true Irishman after my own heart. My husband listens to his show, but I’ll admit the last time my American son-in-law came to visit, he said that nobody compares to Howard Stern, not even our Morris. Don’t worry Morris, I still love you! Contessa Rhonda, I loved your proverbial poem. Very witty, my dear!

IS THAT YOU MY BEAUTIFUL EUGENIE? (Issue II~Spring 2006)
How clever to publish stories about priceless antiques. I just lose myself in all of those fabulous shops whenever I visit New York. On my next trip to America, I’ll be sure to visit with Andrea at Thursday’s Antiques!

LAMPEDUSA (Issue II~Spring 2006)
Shocking, disgusting, I’m speechless! What is this world coming to? Simply disgraceful! I’m saddened and lost for words after reading of Dr. Hutt’s discoveries. The world needs to be aware
of what is happening to those poor people.

TERRORISM (Issue II~Spring 2006)
Most disturbing images! I was having some lunch while reading LALLOUZ INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE, and lost my appetite at the sight of all the gruesome photos, not to mention the bodies of Saddam Hussein’s sons, Uday and Qusay. Shola Adeniran hit the nail on the head when stating that “terrorism is the bogeyman of the new era”!

AROMATHERAPY FOR TRAVELERS (Issue II~Spring 2006)
I’m a flight attendant for American Airlines, and spend more time in the air than on the ground! I suffer from bad headaches, and my stomach’s always been sensitive to the acetaminophen or ibuprofen found in Tylenol, Advil and other pain relievers. After reading more about aromatherapy, I no longer travel anywhere, and I mean “anywhere” without my peppermint oil. I’ve also tried using lavender and geranium oils in my bath, which has worked fabulously against jet lag. After pestering some co-workers to try these discoveries, we’ve all come to one conclusion: Aimee Hughes is brilliant! A huge “thank you” from the crew at American Airlines.

VEDA (Issue II~Spring 2006)
I couldn’t live my life without Yoga. It brings me absolute peace and makes sense of the chaos that surrounds us. My wish is for more people to benefit from what I’ve discovered to be a vital improvement in my existence. Namaste, Gadadhara dasa.

BIL HANA WAL SHIFA (Issue II~Spring 2006)
My girlfriend Necia is like former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos, only instead of shoes, it’s recipes! Lucky for me, she found Rashida Reidel’s “Moroccan Fish Tagine” and “Carrot Soufflé with Apricot” recipes... scrumptious!

THE EPICUREAN EXPERIENCE (Issue II~Spring 2006)
My brother and sister-in-law live in Ojen just near Julio Iglesias. Last time I visited from Barcelona, we went to La Venencia with my young niece and nephew. There were lots of families, the food was very good and the pool was great for the little ones. I will hold it as a good memory until I come to Marbella again.

IN CAPTIVITY (Issue II~Spring 2006)
This story was all over the news back in ‘98! It was pretty shocking. I’m happy that I had a chance to gain more insight through Dr. Hutt’s book, “A Minor Indiscretion”. I enjoyed it.

A WOMAN SCORNED (Issue II~Spring 2006)
When I used to travel for work to Vegas, I saw a huge amount of infidelity from both men and women. They were away from the kids, chores, etc., and it was amazing how such conservative looking people would let loose, get drunk, go to strip clubs, etc. It made me afraid of ever dating anyone in sales or who travels often for work. I wouldn't be surprised if over 50% of married people cheat, judging from what I have witnessed.

THE MIRROR OF THE SOUL (Issue II~Spring 2006)
Chanel Lallouz is a very perceptive young lady. I’d love to have a class full of students like her! It’s true, the mirror of the soul never lies.

GLOBAL FLYING HOSPITALS (Issue II~Spring 2006)
ORBIS has done a tremendous job as a flying eye hospital. I’ve been following Global Flying Hospitals’ progress -- it seems like they have a good team and are willing to go the mile to get their fleet off the ground. It’s projects like these and the people behind them that deserve all the praise.

JOHN LENNON (Issue II~Spring 2006)
I lived near The Dakota where this tragedy took place -- used to see John Lennon around the neighborhood. Over the years, I’ve read just about every Lennon poem that’s been written, collected art, and other tributes. I especially liked “Portrait of John Lennon” by Elyahou Lallouz and the poem “John Lennon” by Contessa Rhonda von Sternberg. Both reflect an imagined past while having a sad quality for our own era. Recently, Mark David Chapman was denied parole and is eligible again in 2008... not a chance in hell -- he’ll die behind bars, just as we are sentenced to life without Lennon.

EVERY HOUSE IS A WORLD (Issue II~Spring 2006)
“Under a Riverbed Sky” by Christopher Woods is one of my favorites. Also enjoyed this short story “Every House is a World”. Hope to see more of his work in your publication.
