In the small Côte d'Azur town of Vallauris, Picasso’s monumental composition, ‘La Guerre et la Paix’ (War & Peace)  is housed in the Castle of Vallauris’ 12th Century Chapel -- an exhibition of his expression for world peace and concern to end violence. Admirers can view his pottery works inside the Castle, which stands adjacent to the market area ‘Place Paul Ismard’. Le Marché, also known as ‘Place L'homme au Mouton’, which translates in English to ‘Man with a Sheep’, and is named for Picasso’s bronze statue which the Artist himself donated to the City of Vallauris in 1949. The statue is located in the center of the town square. A ‘spiritual experience’ that leaves one with the feeling that Picasso may appear at any time! Watch it here on LIM MEDIA QUICK VIEW.

It was 1929 when Austrian Jew, Moise Blucher fled to Camargue, France. Eager to succeed, Blucher worked many jobs for the next few years until he befriended a Swiss gentleman who encouraged him to collect ‘Citroën Traction Avant’ cars.  The rest is history. Today we can see that his enterprising was well worth his efforts.  His son, Robert, is most appreciative of his late father’s passion for these historical automotive collectibles. The junior Blucher has done an exceptional job of creating a quaint ‘Musée Blucher’ in Montcalm, which is frequented by thousands of car collectors and visitors from all over the world each year. Like father, like son: Blucher’s penchant for automobiles allows for a unique chance to glance at some of the rarest cars available. An Auto Lover’s Paradise! Watch it here on LIM MEDIA.
