When asked by a Florida Senator if I could contribute ‘one’ original, ‘never been thought of before’, meaningful ideal -- one powerful enough to come to the aid of all American people, a nation as one. I did not hesitate to impose my ideal; that all people should benefit from gratuitous healthcare, education, energy and communication. Classified as necessities rather than luxuries, my belief... that they not be used for advantageous gain.
He concurred that executing any such revelation would certainly appease and elate the masses, however adverse apocalyptic repercussions would surely ensue... Corporate America.
An ‘original’ yet ‘dead end’ idea for a Senator whose position is to represent hard working citizens -- an altruistic ideal that would improve economic despair. We both understood that such an event was improbable during our lifetime.
As if defeated, he uttered “what can I do, I am all alone.”
“No, Senator,” I replied. “We are two... for now.”
